There is nothing wrong with having meat on your bones. I would rather have meat than have you see my heart beat in my chest. I am not fat but if you let the doctors tell it, I am obese. I am 6' and about 220 now. I am porportionate. I wasn't built "skinny". Thank the lord. I think skinny people are overrated if you ask me. Everyone in Hollywood trying to get skinny, some even die cause they wanna get even skinnier when they are already toothpicks. There are huge people, I will give you that but so the *** what? Isn't this a free country? Shouldnt people be just or skinny or just as fat as they wanna be? Leave it be.

thats the result of a fast food nation. America is home to the biggest obese population in the world. Germany is mostly well-fed, but do you see half of them obese? I agree with you. People need to lose wieght! For their own good!

I agree. America is the fattest country according to recent studies. The portion sizes at most places are horrendously over-sized and with all the buffets there is no wonder we are the biggest country.

I'm fat and so is one of my sisters; my other sister and my brother, not so.
Lack of exercise, more time spent on TV, the Internet, etc., and junk food had contributed to the fattening of America.
Lexi: 5'7" and 124 pounds does not sound fat to me. Are you sure you aren't judging yourself too harshly?

Yep, America does have a lot of over weight people. But that's because we commercialize so many unhealthy foods.
And its all at our fingertips!

About eighty percent of us are overweight. I agree with this small caveat: Americans aren't the only ones overweight.
