I live with my parents, but they are not going to help pay for my school. I was going to do fafsa, but my parents make to much money, so i dont think it will work. I dont really want to get loans cuz I dont want to get stuck with big bills and interest when i graduate, but I might have to. Anyone know of the best place to get student loans with the best rates. I can use any advice possible. thanks

My advice...do NOT get a loan. I work with people that are still paying off student loans. Do work study if you qualify. You need to fill out the fafsa to find out what you can qualify for. Have you taken the ACT test? A good score on the ACT will help you pay for college! Find a work college, like College of the Ozarks in Missouri- you work and go to college - all on campus. Work and go to school.! Apply for scholarships. Be serious about your education. Take as many classes as you can if it is 12-20 plus hours full cost. Get done as fast as you can and work at it. Do not party and lose your education. Education does pay!

I took the State tests to get a loan through Mensa, then got state help with med school, didn't have to pay due to scholarship, everything was paid for.
I then worked for a construction company as a carpenter part time to eat and pay some bills.
