Most hospitals have a birthing class. Ask your OB/GYN or call the maternity ward at the hospital, they should know. You could also look up "birthing classes" in the yellow pages, but I still think the nurses at the maternity ward would know the most about it. Good luck.

Check with your hospital. Usually they offer birthing classes. I found the breathing techniques they taught pretty much useless but the information they shared on what to expect when going into labor all the way through birth was most helpful. It made me feel a lot more comfortable knowing what to expect. I would definately take the class if you can find one that is convenient.

There's a good DVD out that has all the classes on it, called Laugh and Learn about Childbirth. My daughter used it and liked it. Search on amazon.com or another website.

Check out your local hospital and ask your doctor. If there really aren't any classes in your area, check out yoga. There are specific exercises for pregnant women.
