can you tell me if i am going to heaven?
i love god very much and go to church every week and dont take his name in vain,but i play bad games like gta san andreas a whole lot.
i help other people whenever possible,but i fight a lot with my brother.
i watch sabbath movies and rated R movies too.
i pray often,but also cheat sometimes.
i love my family,but sometimes i dont act like it.
So,tell me the truth,do you think i will go to heaven?

Only God knows if you'll go to Heaven,but in my opinion you sound like a great guy that has a wonderful conscience. A lot of people don't have those anymore. I'm a great lady, most people love me and I think I'm going to Heaven.I do a lot of things that you say you do and I also understand that no one in this world is perfect. I sometimes have watched R rated movies and growing up with six brothers we used to bicker too, but we all loved each other (three have passed on now). Darling always strive to be the best you can be, but know that we all fall short on being perfect. Keep up what you are doing and God will do the rest.

Think of it this way. In Phillipians 4:8 it says, "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." Does R rated movies fall into any of these categories. I think that if you love God then you will want to follow God. In John 14:15 Jesus says, "If ye love me, keep my commandments."
You probably aren't being as good a Christian as one could be. But don't get me wrong, I'm not perfect myself and struggle with this sort of stuff too. I guess God tells us this stuff for a reason so try not to get too into the highly rated games and movies. You will go to heaven if you believe in Jesus, have an urge to know Him better and want to do His will. Just try not to do wrong. That's all God asks. Nobodies perfect

Honestly, a game is just a game, you are you and you can't be anything else. In the end it is our intentions that are weighed the strongest, not what we did but why we did those things. Do you think the powers that be only see the surface of all we do, of course not, they see who we are in our heart and soul and that is what will truly be weighed. Do good things for good reason and go to heaven (an honest doctor who worries about this patients), do good things for bad reasons and probably go to hell (an evangelical healer who is only in it for the money), do bad things for good reason and perhaps go to heaven (undercover cops who have to do some bad things for a good outcome), and of course the flat out bad (the murderers, and all the general bad people). The world is not black and white, you will not be judged as black and white, hope this helped.

That depends. Of course, God doesn't like it when you do those things (bad video games, stuff like that, fighting). But have you oersonally accpeted Jesus Christ into your heart? Have you confessed to Him that you know you're a sinner, that you know He died for you, and asked Him to be your savior? If not, then you're going down under. If you have, pray more; try to stop the pointless video games(or at least cut down); try not to fight with your brother (as the Bible says, turn the other cheek); love your family like crazy, and show them that you love them (you never know when you your last day with them will be); if those R-rated movies have lots of sex and drugs and cussing and whatnot (as most of them do), chances are you shouldn't be watching them (there's this Christian movie review thing on the Internet called Dove family review - or something like that - that reviews different movies from a Christian perspective). If you haven't accepted Christ (it's not enough just to believe - I mean, the devil believes in God too), do it while you still have the chance. We never know which day will be our last on this earth.

You sound like a basically good person. I don't think God will care that you play videogames or have a case of sibling rivalry with your brother, if even that you watch R-rated movies and get frustrated with your family.

All that God is supposed to care about is what's in your heart. If you do what you can to make the world a better place, even in some small way, it won't go unrewarded.

Your deeds alone won't get you into heaven. It's a good thing, though, that you're aware of your good intentions and good deeds, and of your bad deeds and where you fall short. We all fall short. That's why we need a savior.

Go into your room or some other place where you can be alone with God. Tell him what you told us. Then ask Jesus to come into your life and to be your Lord and Savior.

I'm not asking you to become a right-winged Republican. In fact, please don't become a right-winged Republican! Whatever your politics, whatever your stripe in life, Jesus is calling you to him. He needs all kinds of people in all kinds of ways of life.

If you don't feel you can trust Jesus yet, feel free to investigate him. Read the four Gospels. Talk to other Christians. Visit a church. I'll give you two websites where you can start.

This can be hard. I think if you pray to God for forgiveness of your sins, you will be in Heaven with God one day. And if you believe that Jesus has died for your sins and have confessed that you are a sinner, you are fine. I'm very glad you are making sure. Because sometimes Satan will make you doubt if you are a Christian or not. I hope you have a great day.

you sound as if u know the difference between right and wrong,and as long as u do your best to do what is right,that is all he asks.being truthful with others and yourself as well as god is a good starting place,I don't think he will condemn u for a few minor slips,we all argue with our siblings,and some times don't appreciate our family the way we should and well some games are a little to be desired but no on will go to hades for playing a game,or saying a bad word,as long as u remember to try to do better

Us Christians are not 100% perfect no one is , but you will be going to heaven don't fret God has ready forgiven you. Did you not know that God knows what our thoughts are going to be before we do. Read the book of Romans.
