Edit- Just remembered, she converted to Judaism. I believe it was when she married Arthur Miller. The rumor that she had sex with Lavey is "challenged by those who knew Monroe at the time". My husband could write in a book that he had sex with Carmen Electra, doesn't make it true.

I think she was raised some sort of Revivalist Protestant but she obviously was not practicing it very well.
