(also, sometimes he will stop and then give my hand kisses, then he will start attcking again)

I think Jaspurr might be one of those cats that gets excited easily. Your Jaspurr might not know that what he is doing is wrong. In that case, you might want to teach him.

When Jaspurr starts getting excited, (kicking, biting, kisses, etc) watch what he does. If he kisses you, give him a treat. If he bites you, shove him off and wait for him to do something else. Eventually, he'll get the point.

This takes a long time, so if you still find him biting and kicking, take him to the vet.

The purring part is normal for cats. Don't worry about it. Some do, some don't.

It's normal. They all do that. It's a sign of "that's enough". He likes having his tummy rubbed, but probably only for a short period of time, then it's enough. By licking your hand right after, he is letting you know that he loves you too. If your paying attention, notice when he goes to grab for your hand, pull back right away and tell him no, but don't yell at him. He's little and doesn't know better.

You might want to get one of those grooming gloves, it will help when you do rub him and he goes to grab your hand. It won't hurt as much and your cleaning him at the same time...

Don't shake your finger at him while saying no, he will think your playing and go to grab it. Don't give him a treat afterwards either, he wasn't doing anything for a reward. Hope this helps.

It doesn't sound like he's really being "aggressive", but more that he is just being a cat. He is playing with your hand as though it were prey. In order to help him learn not to bite your hand you should do two things: Take your hand away promptly when he begins to bite or get rough. Learn to recognize the signs of building excitement that lead to biting. Take your hand away from him before he gets to the biting part. The grabbing, biting and kicking behavior is how a wild cat interacts with it's prey-food, so it's perfectly natural. However, we don't really like to have cats exhibit all of their natural behaviors when interacting with us. Another thing to do is to give your kitten toys to play with. Play with your kitten using the toys instead of your hand. He will be able to bite, kick, and grab the toy. Does he have a scratching post, a climbing toy, a rolling toy, a toy that makes noise?

That is a typical kitten, my cat is older and still does that, she likes her belly rubbed then suddenly grabs my hand and bites, while kicking with her hind legs, I think she like it, but only for a little while, then maybe gets ticklish. They think of you as another cat(they see you as one of them)and that's how they play, not realizing that it hurts you. So now I just do it for a little bit before she gets too excited and starts her nipping, sometimes she'll actually stands up and is ready to play it ruff,so I have to walk away from her, but that's just their way of play.

the "playing" is a normal cat behavior...just that it's not supposed to involve for-real biting and for-real hind claws...

I've trained my kitties (I adopt all ages) to do this the playful way instead of what jasPURR is doing...

I use treats to reward the gentle behavior...I use ski gloves (yes ski gloves) while I'm rewarding the playful-playful behafior until the kittie "gets with the program"

and I've discovered that purring means "I want attention" in addition to the, "Hi Mommy - gee I'm so happy I could purr"

don't give up...sometimes it's taken several dozen treats, but your kittie will turn into a sweetheart if you're patient...boy kitties are sweeter than girl kitties...just don't forget the ski gloves

AWWWWW That is such an adorable name! *cough* anyways...He's jsut a kitten, he should grow out of it in a couple months. You can always tell him NO! and shake your finger at him. Then give him a pet afterwards.
