Because my brother worked for the cable company back in 1980, I had all the channels and actually remember the start-up of the pioneering channels like MTV and Nickelodeon. There was a show called "Livewire" that was a forum of teens who discussed movies, TV, politics etc. Linda Ellerbee did a news show and they had Mr Wizard. This was even before "Nick at Nite". As far as Cartoon Network, when it first debuted, it showed all classic cartoons. My favorite has always been the original Jonny Quest. And when MTV debuted they only played music videos...go figure! :-P

well, i dont miss the rugrats at all but then they are still on some and so is hey arnold. but i used to love doug! i agree alot of it is stupid now all but spongebob and for the little ones nick jr has got better shows.

YES! Esp. the rugrats!! THe new shows suck!!! Esp. El Tigre, Avatar, and The fairly oddparents!! But i like Spongebob! ;)

NO. I hated all of those shows. I miss Blue's Clues, Jimmy Neutron, Two Stupid Dogs and Powerpuff girls. Or am I confusing it with classic Cartoon network?

yeah i missed those shows everyday including the weekend when i was younger i used to wake up early to watch them all now nickelodoen is not worth watching no more. all they got now is shows the r boring and have actors who cant act

WOW! that's not classic nick... what happened to all the other shows that aired before the "animation" era.
Dont you remember the shows where the people acted.... I do.. I just cant remember the names... those are the shows I MISS!
