Could indeed be a memory coming back ... here's the thing though, it's your dream and you can take control of it - ask him why he's going to kill you. Challenge him. What's he going to do to you in a dream? Nothing at all. He's a bully, yes, but in a dream. He cannot actually hurt you. So confront him. If he can't answer you, slam the door in his face and get a key (it's your dream, take the key from your pocket in the dream) and lock it. Then kick the door down, and go back to enjoying that playground.
I think if it is from a really serious event that happened in your childhood, you would in all likelihood remember this event. If you're still not happy with it, you might consider hypnosis or something. It may be that you just saw something on the television when you were very small that frightened you.

Dream dictionaries are often very vague and don't have anything to do with what is going on in your life. You need to ask yourself questions, because YOU are really your best judge as to what this means...
Start a dream journal.
What you need to do is always ask yourself these questions after you have a strange dream...
1) first write how did it make you FEEL...not what you saw, what you felt. Often, this is just a symbol of stress.
2) what colors were in the dream- colors often have subtle meanings
3) what was the predominant action... what you saw...
4) is this possibly your mind just reenacting something you recently saw...if you just watched 'saw 3' then had a vivid freaky dream it could just be that....
From there you can usually predict what this means. If you often have upsetting dreams, try meditating before going to sleep.

as we sleep often we visit areas of our mind that we have closed off by doors or other means. I wouldn't be surprised if you are the victim of child abuse by a grown man who threatened to kill you if you ever told. This trauma has remained in your subconcious as a warning. You are no longer a child. The park is full of people who were unable to protect you because they couldn't see that you were being threatened.

To see children in your dream, signifies your own childlike qualities or a retreat back to a childlike state. It is an extension of your inner child during a time of innocence, purity, simplicity, and a carefree attitude. You may be longing for the past and the chance to satisfy repressed desires and unfulfilled hopes. The loss of a child, signifies fallen hopes or a project. To save a child, signifies your attempts to save a part of yourself from being destroyed.
To dream that you are at a park, represents a temporary escape from reality. It indicates renewal, meditation, and spirituality. It is also an indication of a readjustment period after a serious personal conflict or an ending of a passionate affair. To dream that you are lost in a park, indicates your struggles with your career, relationship, or other problem. You may feel alienated by society.
To dream that you are entering through a door, signifies new opportunities that will be presented before you. You are entering into a new stage in your life and moving from one level of consciousness to another. In particular, a door that opens to the outside, signifies your need to be more accessible to others, whereas a door that opens into the inside, denotes your desire for inner exploration and self-discovery. To see opened doors in your dream, symbolizes your receptiveness and willingness to accept new ideas/concepts. In particular, to see a light behind it suggests that you are moving toward greater enlightenment/spirituality. To dream that the doors are locked, signifies opportunities that are denied and not available to you or that you have missed out on. In particular, if you are outside the locked door, then it suggests that you are having some anti-social tendencies. If you are inside the locked door, then it represents harsh lessons that need to be learned. To dream that you are locking doors, suggests that you are closing yourself off from others. You are hesitant in letting others in and revealing your feelings. It is indicative of some fear and low self-worth. To see revolving doors in your dream, suggests that you are literally moving in circles and going no where. You may feel that your opportunities and choices lead to a dead end.
To see a man in your dream, denotes the masculine aspect of yourself - the side that is assertive, rational, aggressive, and/or competitive. If the man is known to you, then the dream may reflect you feelings and concerns you have about him. If you are a woman and dream that you are in the arms of a man, suggests that you are accepting and welcoming your stronger assertive personality . It may also highlight your desires to be in a relationship and your image of the ideal man. To see an old man in your dream, represents wisdom or forgiveness.
To see a killer in your dream, suggests that an essential aspect of your emotions have been cut off. You feel that you are losing your identity and your individuality. Alternatively, this dream may represent purification and the healing process. You are standing up for yourself and putting a dramatic end to something.

some dreams are like a setup.
how we respond or think (AFTERWARD) prepare events..we worst fear..or..hope to appeared.
this dream is certainly evilboding, causing stress and worries. yet.some dreams are like a SEED.
trying to establish WITH AN AGREEMENT.
so worrying, and stressing about it..
cause YOU...to react..mediate on it, ect.
there is a bible scripture too..JOB 3:25, what i worst fear had come upn me.
JOB is a story of very wealthy man 10 grown up, many livestock, many many live stock and workers...ect.
HE feared of losing it all..and all in one day..robber and killer came and killeed his workers, still thousand upon thouands of his live stock..and a storm camed and on that day..his children were all under one tent.and it fell and killed everybody...gone from riches to nothing in a day.
what he worst fear..came upon him.
So..as for you, you say NO..NO ..NO. i reject these dreams
and if you're a christian...you know what to say..of His name.
dreams are seeds of hope..or worst.
its up to us..to say..AMEN..or disagree.
it's important to SAY and believe in the depths of your heart..any shadow..is still a seed..kill the seeds is sayinbg..words..of faith (we all have faith of GOD..or or human's nature)..what a man think in his heart..his mouth speaks...so speak..LIFE, victory..safety, ect.
there is LIFE in our words..there really is.

I'm so sorry you suffer that dream. Nobody should have to worry about dreams, because they just aren't real at all. I wouldn't think about it so much, or you might keep on dreaming it.
