Everybody hates death, fears death, but only those, the believers who know the life after death and the reward after death, would be the ones who will be seeking death.

Even if you believe that there is life after death, why would you seek death? Even if you don't fear it, are you not here for a reason?

After edit - Ohhh..that explains it. These splinter cults believe that the more "infidels" they kill, the more glory they receive in the afterlife.

1) Not everybody hates death , there are persons who prefer to be death because of the sufferings from illnesses.
2) Not everybody fears death. My dad told me he didnt fear death , what he feared was that what was before the death, the unknown road of suffering.
3) Believing in a life after death is tentative because it gives hope that we will see our dead beloved ones it is not an invitation for me to seek death.

So effectively I disagree with all 3 .

I do fear nor loath death. I only see it as another part of life. It is the final liberation. I do not seek after it though.

I am not afraid of having pain inflicted apon me, either.

I don't fear death (but I do fear pain), and I don't care if there is life after death (even with reincarnation, the most likely scenario, I'm not going to rembmeber anyway).

but for the masses, your statement sounds logical.

It doesn't really make sense for a religious person who believes he was put on Earth to destroy himself so that he could move on.

At all.
