We've been dating for about the last fsix months... when we first started dating he wanted me to start reading the Quran and such, I only agreed if he would go to church with me one weekend.

To make a long story short, in just one sermon (basically), he was the one to change sides and see the truth and believe in the gospel... now he says he feels sorry for other Muslims because they are just as misguided as he once was... and that Muhammed and his teachings were full of bullsh*t.

The problem is that we're thinking of getting married but he hasn't decided how to tell his Muslim parents....

What should we do???

sorry! but when u said that he said that that Muhammed and his teachings were full of .......
it gave me the feeling that it is untrue , muslims who are even not true in their faiths or probably as some ppl say apostate don't insult islam or the prophet at least like that , i would have believeed more if he became an athiest or so, it is hard for a muslim to go for another religion after knowing islam , and u were telling us that he was calling u to islam !!!there something wrong in ur story i guess , God only knows where is the truth ,

but i think u know exactly what to do!!

may God keep us on his right path.

After one sermon? Baptize? Condemned Prophet Muhammad's (pbuh) teachings? Sounds to me like he was never a Muslim after all... and NO ONE changes their religion over night. This is sad.. Unbelievable. and why is your name jihad Jill? lol.. Are you the Muslim or something. Weird.

He should just tell his parents. They will find out eventually IF this is true.

I'm not so sure about you, who gets married after only 6 months?

What in Muhammad's teachings did he feel were wrong may I ask?
Muhammad (peace be upon him) was a real prophet. You just have to read about his prophethood, how on earth would one man of the desert, and illiterate "make up" a book like the beautiful Qur'an....? Only with the power of God and his revelation could the Qur'an have been given to us, the message could have spread to so many on earth, even without the prophet getting to such places himself. you should give Islam another chance, you might be surprised, then after research you can have the choice to embrace it of deny it, there is no compulsion. Truth should stand out in our eyes.
Good luck.

Well, "Jihad Jill," I'm glad your bf has seen the false prophet and his false teaching for what they truly are. As your bf no doubt knows, the penalty for leaving Islam is death. So make sure his misguided mom & dad are unarmed before he tells them he's found the truth in Christ. And may God bless you both in bringing salvation to his family as well!

6 months is not a long time. Keep that in mind. And if you're alreadyy doinn up the good stuff then it's really not gonna work out.

Sorry to break it to you, but I think you are being led down a garden path. After one sermon? Not very likely.

Tell your boyfriend to lie low. There are plenty of God fearing Muslims who would slit his throat, in between praying 5 time a day. Your boyfriend will confirm it.

It is good he converted. As 2Co 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
This is good for both of you. Maybe his parents will let you get married, and then they will have the chance to "convert", and see the truth.

a) you need to test his faith as gold is tested. so that you KNOW he is commited to following Christ for eternity.

b) pray for the salvation of his parents, keep knocking on Heavens door, that the bread of life may enter their lives!
