All you've got to do is meet the right sort of people who can get you the work in the first place (promoters etc..) maybe pull a few strings, tug a little wood and hey presto, you'll be the next Britney, or Christina!
Good luck and don't forget, DON'T GIVE UP until they ask you to.

You can go to Karaoke at pubs, see what they do. Get involved and they may ask you to lead out. May get a job this way. Once you have experience, apply for Australian Idol.

Auditions and finding a licensed reputable agent that can help market your talents .
Don't listen to these people that promote sex , that is why there the new stars are lacking REAL talent these days.It would also help if you can dance also. The more things you can market yourself with.
