Hi, I'm 13. NO I am not getting married! My friend who is 20 is engaged and I want to know what would make a good present. Preferably something 20 bucks or less. Honestly I have no idea what a wedding gift might be. Thanks for the help everyone!

i would ask your mom if she knows where they are registered. it is a big list of things they want for their house. if you can't find out, i would buy a Yankee candle. they sell the smaller oz. ones for under 20 dollars and it will make their house smell real nice. they have a wedding scent one.

A set of bowls is nice, and you can choose the color. They are as low as $19.99 for some pretty nice bowls (three per set).
I was thinking a photograph album, although if they are getting professional wedding photographs, they will also get an album.. it couldn't hurt to get an extra one. A nice frame, those personalized wood frames, which are inscribed "Love"
"Family" "Wedding", any of these with the personal touch.
They are on sale sometimes at the CVS, buy one, get one free or 50% off. A plain or scrolled silver frame is nice. Wrap it up, and decorate it with a ribbon. Have a nice time at the wedding.

Anything that you choose would be a treasure. It can be a pretty piece of crystal - the inexpensive kind - you can get pieces at a department store for 12 to 15 dollar, like a little serving tray or candy basket. You can choose a nice wall clock, a mirror, a wreath or plaque they can put up in their new home - there are lots of nice things that don't cost a lot once you start looking around.

Sometimes if you go on a website of a store that your friend would go to, like Target or something, you go to wedding gifts, (I think) and type in their names and it will show you what they have on their wish list. I think that is how to get to their wishlist, I'm not completely sure though, but its pretty easy to figure out. This only works if your friend has actually made a wishlist...if your friend hasn't, then ask your mom.

Hello to you!
You are very thoughtful! Please remember... your gift will be wonderful... if given from the heart.
One of my favorites... 3 glass roses, red, yellow, white.
Red... love, passion
Yellow... friendship (important!)
White... purity
I suggest a simple interpretation with candles, and a card explaining the symbol of each color.
I hope you have a great time celebrating with your friends!

judy, thats sweet of you. you could do a number of things. you could ask your mum to buy them a bottle of wine from you.
you could give them a nice set of towels or something similar. perhaps from their gift registry.
do you have a photograph of you and your friend together? you could get that enlarged and put it in a pretty frame.
you could buy them a shrub or small tree for their garden, something that will grow and remind them of their wedding day and you.
you could purchase a really nice photo album for them to put their honeymoon photos in.
whatevr you choose will mean a great deal to them because it came from your heart.

a gift card from a place like Bed Bath and Beyond. Honestly they will get so many presents, and it will be nice for them to be able to choose what they want to go with however they want to decorate, or to buy something they didn't get. A candle is nice, but what if it's the wrong color?

if you have a marshalls or tj maxx or ross near you check out their homewares//giftwares area.
you can find a nice vase, or picture frame, or maybe wine glasses for them for super cheap.
i have had great luck finding gifts for brides, babies, birthdays, and anniversarys.
if you know they both like tea or coffee or foods... check out the food area and see if you can pick up a couple things then find a great gift bag at the dollar tree or dollar store near by... lil tissue paper and you are good to go.

a set of personalized champagne flutes that they can use at the reception. you can pick up the glasses at any dept. store and take them to "things remembered" to have them etched with their names and the wedding date.
