The day's not over yet!

I don't think anyone thought the sky would fall or the world would start ending today. To some, 7-7-7 is a lucky number: many are getting married today, for example, and probably there are more lottery players than usual. To others, 7-7-7 is a blessed number, reflecting the Trinity of God--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I know, for example, that there's a youth conference today in Virginia or thereabouts.

Yes. People are being raptured as we speak. That way, there won't be anybody to argue against global warming after the Live Earth concert tonight. Hooray!

People just get caught up in the "idea" of what might happen.....kind of like new years Eve of 2000.....everyone thought something BIG was going to happen.

This is supposed to be a day of luck (#7), but I haven't gotten lucky yet today.

I'll let you know if that changes.

I'm going to the movies later. If the rapture does occur, I'm going to find me a nice unmanned vehicle to drive home.

Apart from the blip in "propitious" marriages?

"I mean like so many positive waves maybe we can’t lose!" as Donald Sutherland memorably put it.
