It would be "le chambre de Kelly and Sara" because with des it means the rooms of Kelly and Sara.

'De' would be correct in that context. 'Des' is a combination of 'de' and 'les' (just as 'du' is a combination of 'de' and 'le'), so saying la salle des Kelly et Sara' would translate to 'the room of the Kelly and Sara', or 'the Kelly and Sara's room'. You don't want the 'the' in there, so 'de' is correct.

"des" is a contraction of "de les." Since Kelly nor Sara require definite articles (you don't say "La Kelly" or "La Sara"), "de" works fine alone.
"La chambre de Kelly et Sara."

"La chambre -de- Kelly et Sarah"
Because of the "et" (and), it's like you said "de Kelly et de Sarah", the seperation in implied, because you are not adressing a group.
Enumeration implies repetition of "de". You could keep going and say "La chambre de Kelly, Sarah, Amy, Sandy, Laura et Jean".
If you said "The children's room", it would be "La chambre -des- enfants", because you are adressing a group, not a series of individuals seperatly.
