ok if it's permanent, can somebody tell me what you would recommend for a semi-permanent product...something that highlights, but is not permanent for a 12 year old.

No, Highlighting Products Like FERIA® Color Strands Are Permanent, They Are A Form Of Frosting Bleach With A "Built-In Toner" For Color.

Unfortunately, There Isn't Anything Semi-Permanent To Recommend. You Could Try "Hair Color Sprays" Blonde, Silver, Gold, White (found At Many Drug Stores And Beauty Supplies) But, They Wash Out In 1 Or 2 Shampoos. If You Really Want To Do This, Check With Your Parents. if you Explain What You Want. And Aren't Wanting Anything Too Outrageous And Are Willing To Pay For It Yourself, They May Let You Do The Permanent Stuff. Good-Luck!

Loreal, is the best haircolor you can buy at like Walmart, drugstores, etc. They have both semi, and permanent. They have soooo many products now, just read on the box/es. I occasionally still do mine at home and always use Loreal, and I have used them all. Highlighting should last a good 3 months, they even have touch up if

you feel it needs it.
Good Luck!!
with your blonde hair, you should have no problem at all...

For a 12 yr old, I would still go with Loreal, just pay close attention to the color.
