Unfortunately no. God has become too much of a crutch for all who believe. To remove him would cause a lot mental anguish. Sort of like losing at love only a lot worse.

If God was simply and Idea..maybe.

It would be much harder to remove the knowledge of the existence of God. Simply because, The knowledge would keep coming back over and over again...because God would keep revealing Himself to those who wish to know Him.

the only thing the idea of god does is gives people the hope that something can help them in situations beyond control. the only thing that would happen would be people would be more active in preventing things instead of just praying

No...one would be created as did the ancients. Someone is responsible for all this beauty and giving thanx naturally follows the wonder of it all. Man is by nature curious and seeking answers to the mystery is what he does.

no i think whole world goes to caos like humans short history. cause god is the only thing that hold us in peace. if we forget about god we forget everything that we believe that are good like conscience or honour. of course that's my belief. I am an Muslim and in my mind god is everything which holds good in it

No way! We'd still have a whole lot of churches and Bibles and so on around, and people would figure out that something odd was going on very, very quickly.
