I think you meant 6 pm to 4 am. If that is the case then a call at 3 am would be ok, since normally he is awake working. It may be a coworker or even a friend (hopefully male) that knows he is up...give him the benefit of the doubt

Why don't you ask him? If he tells you without getting defensive it's probably nothing but if he does then you know something is up. It also depends on if its a one time thing or if he keeps getting calls at that time. Gut reaction is a booty call though.

lol my first thought would be, damn drunken friends.
then my second would be damn ex drunk dialing again
then my third thought is.. haha little does SHE know that i know about this voice mail and she better watch her fat ***.
my boyfriends ex just called him at 5am the other day.. unforunatly he was asleep and left his cell at his parents, his dad happened to answer. she was crying and said 'i know wev'e had a messed up past but' and his dad said 'f*ck off' and hung up on her.. hahaha

My gut reaction.......it must be his work.
Maybe if its bothering you so much, maybe you should confront him about this. Do it calmly and breathe. It could very well be nothing.
