How often do you change your sheets? you see, dust mites and their excrement is highly allergenic.
They live in you sheets and eat the particles of skin you shed. They don't like open air or oxygen so actually leaving the bed unmade is best but, messy.
These little buggers get in your nasal membranes and make you sneeze.
So, wash your sheets about every three days and see what happens.
I should mention that apprehension of having sex is also a prelude for sneezing but, that's a little more complicated, the hormones and everything and sneezing. You didn't mention this but?

I think those that mentioned dust mites are onto something here. Try the hypoallergenic pillow, or dust mite proof encasement. If that seems to help a little then get an encasement for your matress. The vinyl ones aren't that expensive. Change your sheets at least once a week and wash them in very hot water. Hope this helps.

I have the same problem! I'm fine all through the day, but the minute I lay down, my nose gets stuffy and I can't breathe. I don't know what it is, either. I'm assuming it's allergies. You might try washing your bed sheets to get rid of any allergens that might be on the sheets. Also, take some allergy medicine like Claritin.

Wash bed clothes more often get hypo allergenic pillows try a hepa fillter air purifier and blow nose before bed as the deeper resperation is probably drawing accumulated materials deeper into sinuses. also try sleeping on slight incline to help fight sinus drainage

Sounds like allergies. Try a hypo-allergenic pillow.

Could be dust mites. Get a dust might proof pillow case (they have them even at Wal-Mart) and try that.
