I think they use intestines for the casing, so if that's the case what other disgusting ingredients go into making a sausage?

They also use a "fake" collagen casing instead of intestine. Sheep intestine would be used for smaller sausages and pig for larger varieties.

There are also non-edible skins and they are usually used on Salamis or summer sausages. The variety of sausage world wide in stunning. Making it is not as hard as you might think. Can cost a bit if you want to use electric grinders, stuffers,mixers etc.

italian sausages contain processed meat and a bunch of spices, like fennel. To keep the meat in pig intestines are usually used. Its not that big a deal really, it does not harm your body.

pretty much all of the leftover pork or beef that they couldn't sell and make a profit off of. so, they grind it up, season it, stuff it in casings, and they make sausage out of it....some sausage is really good, but i have had some that tasted like garbage.

The germany sausages are the best!!!! and taste good because we need something good to eat!
