Well you can't unring a bell, unfortunately. I made a similar mistake recently by killing a rabbit I thought was a rat....(I need to study more rabbit pictures), I wish I could take it back but what's done is done. In his defense though, mice represent genuine pestilence that can damage property over time. Rest assured there are no shortages of mice....or rabbits, for that matter.

I won't even let my brother kill spiders that come in our house! I pick them up in a tissue and take them outside while fending off his shoe. I would NEVER let him kill a mouse!
