Probably. You might need one from the state too. You also might have local zoning ordinances.

well, that depends on your county, but you need a license in MOST counties to start a business of any kind. THat's called an "occupational license" most places. Some counties require special arrangements to be made for certain businesses, and in a lot of places dog day care would be one of them becaise it'd produce an abundance of dog poo...(and in a lot of places there are laws about how you can dispose of that.) Almost every county has a website, and if you go there and check under "occupational licenses" you can usually find links to most of the info you need. If you can't find the answers there, there is usually a contact number.
