if you miss your pills 1 morning do you than loose it later that day. when my husband yells at me he uses that as his reason.

It's as good a reason as any. Effexor comes in two forms, one regular and one long lasting. If you miss a dose its effectiveness will wane and irritability will set in. But your husband is also not using any skills to avoid losing his temper, and those techniques don't fade. He should be seeing a therapist to learn how to manage his display of anger and irritability, and then practice them instead of just giving in to his impulses.

I am on effexor and sometimes miss my pills to test the withdrawal effects I've heard off. I can tell you that it gives me extreme mood swings and makes me feel really angry, as well as strange dreams and brain shivers.
I'd tell your husband to always take his pills on time because if that is the reason for his anger he is not been fair to you if he doesn't.

When I miss my dose of effexor I have huge mood swings, dizziness, I'm tired, and feel like I'm in a dream world. I also shake. I think it causes the mood swings as well as the other effects will cause me to become sassy! Make a time while you are with him to make sure his dose is taken. Like at dinner. Or next to the coffee pot or toothbrush, just for a reminder!

you can take pills not to scream and one morning if he misses his pills instead of just screaming and then saying he is sorry he may kill you and that will be because he bottled it up for so long doesn't that scare you? no this might not nescessarily happen chances are on these drugs and on these treatments he will or might even do away with himself is that what you want?
