Well, if you are a (confused) Christian right now, you should know that you can pray about this, and the answer will definately be NO!

Anyway, your pic looks much too nice to be turned into one of those evil demons the atheists identify themselves with. Do you really want to go to the dark side of life? (And I always thought that atheists just dont believe in God, I never knew that most of them is so cruel and actually have values that would not make for a healthy society.)

Why are you looking here for an answer?

I'm sorry but Yahoo! Answers is not the best place to bet your soul on.

I personally would put it down to logic: if there is no God, what's the harm in believing there is? None. But if there is a God, what's the harm in believing there isn't? Everything.

Of course, however, Christianity shouldn't be merely a "back-up" plan just in case the supernatural really is out there. It is meant to be a true belief, sincere, a trusting relationship between a person and their Creator. As a Christian i felt there were many days i should just give up, it didn't matter whether i went to Hell or even existed at all after death (or in life for that matter), but then i realized that it does, we all have worth as beings created in the image of God. And i also understood that it's not about me. It's about Him. And after that, my life changed.

All i can say is "seek, and you will find; ask, and you shall receive; knock, and the door will be opened unto you." Don't look at Yahoo! Answers--the people here have no idea what we are talking about. Look at published sources: the Bible, other books, even history books. God shall open your heart.

Know that even if you become an atheist, you still have value because no matter what you believe or who you are, you are nevertheless created in the image of God and He loves you. God does not need your permission or belief (or mine) to exist, and while you may say you hate Him (which is, of course, the message an atheist sends to Him), He will still love you, and therefore so i will have to as well.

Peace. Please think on these things and start looking for truth. But you will probably not find it here.

Become a Jew. I bet you have a lot of ideas about Judaism that have been told to you over the years. And I also bet that a lot of them aren't true.

Judaism is a beautiful religion - or you can chose to just be G-d fearer. Only bound by the Noahide Covenant.

If you don't believe that Jesus was truly the Messiah then you aren't Christian. You would be better off finding G-d on your own and then deciding what path you want to take.

I was a Christian for fifteen years then an atheist for another fifteen years. For the last ten years I've only believed in God but not any kind of religion or organization.

Both religions and atheist are equally closed minded, have an open mind and enjoy learning truth for yourself.

If you believe in God and Christ then you wouldn't be an athiest. If you don't believe in them then you would be. If you are not sure then you would be agnostic. You can remain a Christian and have spirituality, believe in and love God and Christ without conforming to a specific church belief. No matter what choice you make, it has to be your choice. No one can make that decision for you.

IF you have to ask then I doubt you are a real christian. But to answer that quickly and easily,
As a christian you have heaven to look forward to and not spend eternity in hell. If you wrong you lived a good life and nothing happens.
As an athiest fine you die nothing happens but if your wrong.. well .....you know the end of that story.

It depends on how inteligent you are. If you aren't that smart, remain a Christian. You REALLY have to know your stuff if you want to be an Atheist. It comes in handy when you are being attacked by a room full of Christians.

Well, you will definitely find the answer on an internet forum. I think the best move, is to a library. Read something and better educate yourself so you are capable of making your own decisions.

If you are a christian now I sure wouldn't turn my back on him now! We are living in the Last days! Now is the time to turn toward God not away from him!
