They are a tropical species that spend most of their time in the water and eat a diet exclusively of fish. They can't be kept as pets (if you are really serious), and are endangered.

No they are not an endangered species but all native birds are protected by law and cannot be kept as pets. Why not get yourself to the pet store and purchase a bird there.

Yep! They can be seen off the coast of peru, and probably quite a few other places. I actually saw a flock of them when we visited the Balliastas islands off Peru and took some photos. I'd been interested in the birds since watching david attenborough one week as a child, though I must admit it was always the name that did it for me ! :-)

Do you own an oceanic island with a huge fence around it? There's no way you could care for a booby even if it were legal to have one.

I'm pretty sure that they are endangered they are from the galapagos islands off of the coast of Ecuador which are highly protected from outside influences...

Get a parrot instead ...
