Would it be odd to wear long sleeve thermal shirts in public with no shirt over it? I know it's odd to wear Under Armor in public because it's skin tight, but thermals are loose. They're also not that see through.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it, but, let's just say I wouldn't.

I don't see that it's odd to wear Under Armor in public, but I mostly haven't seen it skin tight. On the other hand, biking shirts and shorts ARE skin tight, and people wear them when away from their bikes.

BtW, this is in the Salt Lake City area, NOT a bastion of liberal thinking.

Hey I feel the same way you do about under armor. Personally I think the longsleeve shirts look kind of weird unless you're actually working out or something. And if you swim in them you need to get the chlorine out of the shirt because it'll ruin it (just soak it in your sink/tub, or wear it into the shower; something like that).

I've done it and seen others do it for years, so I don't think it's odd at all. In my neck of the woods it may be 30 degrees when we leave the house and 70 by noon, so dressing in layers and stripping them off as it warms up is the norm.

I've done it, in the winter. Throw a sleeveless vest over it and everyone will think you are a skier, or snowboarder. Where weather permits it is not odd at all.

Your perspective, local customs, type of event, advice and many other things would dictate what is acceptable.... You asked the question, therefore you have some doubts, so I would consider any and all of the above!!! Good luck in what ever you choose...............

Old men do that in the winter time in our neck of the woods.

Except the fact it's 110 degrees outside, I don't see the problem. :)

Only if it were 95 degrees out.

Not at all. As long as what you're wearing is not obscene, then go for it.
