your hair grows around a half inch per month. however if you have a poor diet and dont have regular trims ever 6-8wks, it will stunt its growth. no product can make it grow. and deep conditoners improve the health. and for you people who are claiming to be cosmatoligist, on this page, you should know that vitamines dont make your hair grow!!!

The best way is to get a lot cut off. but if you do not want to do that, I suggest you get some layers 3 sets @ different lengths to get some of the damage out & use

I doubt your hair was damaged so much by the perm- its probably because you didn't take care of it. Basically learn how to take care of your hair. Keep it moisturized, get it trimmed, drink lots of water, take hair vitamins. There is no way to make your hair grow faster- and everyone's hair grows 1/2 a month.

That happened to me once. I just got my hair trimmed about every 4 weeks and used a really great leave-in conditioner and washed the damaged hair everyday.

Take vitamins. I know it sounds weird, but prenatal vitamins are actually really good for your hair, skin, and nails. Just take good care of it while it grows out. Get your hair trimmed regularly, use good products, and get a recondtitioner when you get your hair cut. It's just going to have to grow out, theres no way to really reverse the damage.
