It would destroy what they call the sanctity of marriage, which consists of 50% divorce rate and up to 50% of wives and up to 70% of husbands having affairs. If they allowed gays to marry, they might actually do a better job of it than we have. That is why so many of them have to turn to the Bible to justify their prejudice. There really are no logical reasons.

An atheist could be ok. Or a Buddhist. based, an agnostic could be tolerable. yet a Protestant or Catholic? Their hypocrites! Associating the Islam faith with terrorism while the Catholics have the Crusades, Inquisition and witch hunts to respond to for and the Protestants have the Protestant Revolution, witch hunts and, greater at the instant, the IRA! Terrorism, or any form of violence, i does not choose my toddler subjected too, much less marry a freak like that. BTW, while a individual dies, to date as we are in a position to coach, there is easily no longer something of a soul or spirit left to care. there's a great danger our bodies have an 'capability' that keeps our organs going that would desire to proceed, yet to date as i will tell, it has no wakeful The physique 'rotting' away? in case you watch a banana, this is going to rot particularly immediately yet you additionally can see how incredilby nutritious the soil around this is going to become. it somewhat is a sort of 'recycling'. i think of this is exciting that our bodies can try this. I had a medical 'mishap' and alter into clinically lifeless for some minutres. i did no longer have the ideas spasms that reason remarkable lights fixtures or tunnels...as quickly as I 'got here to', I felt very enthusiastic and prefer I had the excellent relax ever. if so, it exchange into as though my physique were restarted (although if this is taking continuously to thoroughly get well, my approach exchange into super and that i did sense ok rested). i do no longer choose to die now b/c there is a lot i choose to do yet i'm no longer fearful of dying. My ideas had ceased so there exchange into no wakeful 'feeling' or memory to 'sense' something. In Tibetan Buddhism, while a individual dies, their physique is left on a hill to be 'used' by the countless organic procedures.

The result would be Confusion on the part of Children;and
It would take Mega Tax on general population for Sickness
and Disablity for the above Group. This Lifestyle has no Biblical standing;
Bishop Gene Robinson wanted this Lifestyle sanctioned by Church,although it is ripping the Church apart,He wasn"t concerned about anyone but Self.I would not sit in a Church and listen to a Bishop or any Minister that by Word or Deed
accepts that Lifestyle;

It will not affect mine at all. If 2 homosexuals want to be married I do not have to stand judgement for them.You may or may NOT understand,but all a Christian is responsible for is planting the seed of faith and God will make it grow.If a person chooses not to live as a Christian,they will face judgement on the day of judgments.Christians simply tell people what the Bible says about homosexuality and that person has to decide for themselves what they are gonna do.I do realize some Christians can go overboard but only because they are trying to warn others BEFORE Christ walks the earth again,so that they may turn from their sins and try to be Christ like as much as possible.

Not against my constitutional right. As a Christian though, I am against anything that God is against and calls wrong. It is wrong in the eyes of God...at least that is what He tells us in His Word.
Where as you do not believe in God's word, it is totally understandable that you write this off as, "extremist" or "Fundie" as I have seen on this answering board.
I know that it MUST take place though because the bible tells me that it will in the "last days".
As homosexuality becomes integrated and more accepted by culture and even by the Church AND as we watch the other signs unfold, we Christians can (and are told to) watch the skys and look up because our redemption is near. Jesus is almost here.
I can't support it because I am a Christian but I do know it will happen...a whole lot is about to take place...Christians have already known about it because God has already warned us.
Not believing will Not make NOT happen...almost time

It disturbs many LABELLED so-called "Christians" because it destroys their idea of a perfect world with catergorised beings according to ONE single book which has a multitude of contradictory statements that have NO explanation.
It upsets them, because if those whom THEY VIEW as Evil, Wicked and Sinful ( its all in personal opinion and view ) are able top gain happiness from that which they see as wrong, then it proves them wrong. Being wrong..... as oriental asians put it... is unforgivable... because it has made them lose honor ( Japan ) or Lose Face ( China, Hong Kong, Taiwan) Being proven wrong... makes them angry that if the truths of other philosophies and teachings are EVEN MINUTELY right... then the possibility of 100% guarantee COULD be wrong... ( and this is Could... imagine if its a definite Would ) As it goes in the Doctrines of a Selfish Heart, if you have to go down when being exposed, take others down with you gleefully!
Your above mentioned "incident of marriage" doesn't violate ANYBODY'S rights, it just makes heterosexual christian people a lot less exclusive and Elite.
At the end of the day, it is all about Pride, Vanity and Ego, those are the very defilements that sent them here. If "Labelled Christians" aren't so judgemental, Caustic and be more kind and benevolent, more drinks could pop up hehehehe

I am not a Christian.
I have a problem with government declaring what is marriage and what is not.
That is a violation of the Constitution because eventually it will become a matter of forcing private institutions (churches) to change their beliefs because of government laws. This will violate the first amendment, which states that "Congress will make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise therof."
It is UNBELIEVABLE how many people do not see the danger in allowing the government to define marriage.

It would show that the days are numbered and that God is real because the Bible says in the last days that man will lay with man, and woman lay with woman. It shows that man doesn't worry or show concern for his creator , we as humans are selfish and think of only of what we want.
I think it would be wrong for a children to be exposed to any set of couples showing public affection. Especially a gay couple of men. Kids are taught in school that it takes a man and a woman to have a baby. Can you imagine the questions that till arise in a childs mind that parents will have to answer? We will treat it as it is nothing new happening around us and teach our kids it is normal. I can tell you that in my day to day life I will not take one step without Jesus beside me to lead the way for me. We are entering treacherous times and we as christians are not supposed to be sleeping in the pews and saying I don't agree with you but it is ok for you to go ahead and do it anyway. If any of the 12 disciple's did that during their ministry there would not have been anyone brought to christianity because it was ok.

The funny thing about those christian people to me is the fact that adultery is in the 10 commandments(the most important rules of all).
Homo life is not in the 10 commandments.
Yet 1/2 the population of any given christian church is on their 2nd or 3rd marriage and clearly living in violation of the commandment.

eye Weekly, a free tabloid from Toronto, was pro-gay but mentioned that even a committed homosexual couple chalks up an AVERAGE of 100 extramarital affairs. What a strange statement! It didn't raise an eyebrow among the activists who run such tabloids but it was quite surprising for the rest of us. That's not really a marriage. Even the most craven heterosexual can't rack up an average like that, what with the need to shuttle kids to and from baseball practice and such, there just isn't any time. These gays must all be like the One-Minute Manager to pull all that off!
The most craven heterosexual adulterer has to look DOWN to see the most committed, monogamous homosexual.

It doesn't - there is a but, however I don't think this is the right forum to discuss this issue as it is highly personal to people and these people are usually fragile so I would not want to cause them any further grief......
