My mom passed away a few years ago and sometimes I dream that she comes to me and says that she is doing good and tells me not to be sad and that she loves me. these dreams seem so real, like she is really there. Could she be coming to me to tell me she's ok or is that just wishful thinking. Has anyone else had this happen?

it happens to my mum all the time
dad comes and sits with her and although she is sleeping she can feel him right next to her
he has given her messages in dreams that have later checked out
I am told not that spirit come to us in dreams , but we are better able to go to them or meet half way with them rather
this stays with us in the form of a dream

I have had dreams of deceased loved ones.
I chalked it up to my subconscious.
I don't know for sure if it was anything spiritual or any form of contact thing.
Just my subconscious.
Since the Bible says that the dead sleep in the grave until the resurrection.
However--I did have a dream that my brother (in a much older, wiser version) placed his head inside of my body and told me that I did not have cancer.
I thought this odd since I didn't have any problems.
After that--to my surprise--they found a lump (that I didn't even know I had) and were concerned it was cancerous. It was not.

I think they do...one time in Mexico when I was a kid me and my younger cousin were playing with a home made kite! and it got stuck on some cables of a electric post back then my grandpa has just passed away that day my moms sister in law was taking care of us coz my mom was working well the sister in law was inside the small house and I got on top of a rock to try to reach for the kite and omg guess what? my cousin and I heard "No! Jonny you're gonna fall" omg we got so scared and it was my granpa's voice we ran away scared afterwards we told my mother...she didn't believe us of course but then her sister in law told her that she heard it too but she thought it was her imagination...that was weird I know its not a dream but it was real. So I do believe in dreams like those..for example I never met my father he abandoned us...and now that I'm 21 a couple of months ago in teh middle of the night I woke up crying...and I was dreaming that my dad was talking to me.

In my opinion it is wishful thinking. On the other hand if you were to dream of your mother and in the dream she is a child then she is ok for dreaming of children is dreaming of angels. To make my case ask anybody that can remember dreaming of children and ask them to remember if there were any malevolence or any kind of mischief to other humans while dreaming of them. The truthful answer would be no for you cannot dream of children (angels) and have the vision showing them up to no good.

My Grandmother has come to me dreams since I was little. Although the dreams differ, her message is always "Things will be ok".

No, but I dreamed I was with my Grandfather on his farm and it was so real that I cried when I woke up and realised it was only a dream.

Anything anybody friend or foe can come in our dreams . It is the brin that hngks about anything .We really think very deeply abou people whom we held der and loved .so our brains see them while we sleep.the brain visualizes them and what it sees in no anything real.

You already know the answer; it is how you are able to get up in the morning, how you can function...I won't presume further, but yes!

Only your memories of them come to you, and it's mixed with a bit of your own imagination.
