Yes... there is plenty of room for the guinea pig to sleep and run-a-round a bit... Just make sure you put some wood niblets and a lot of padding under the hide-a-ways... Sometimes my guinea pig will chew my wood hide-a-way... Also like the statement above, make sure you let him out and provide a little more exercise for the guinea pig.!.

First of all, didn't you just get a panda hammy? Why are you already thinking of replacing it!!

Also, that multi story cage is not the safest for any rodent. Guinea pigs especially are not good climbers, and need more floor space than climbing space. Hamsters, though, are not terrific climbers, and most breeders do not recommend multi-level cages, especially those containing wire floors. You should pay careful attention to your rodents' feet while housing them in a wire-bottomed cage, and watch for signs of broken legs and broken backs. I won't even allow wire wheels in my hamster cages.

Even the best climbing rodents can get horribly injured in multi-level cages. My parents had a chinchilla (which are not bad climbers) who was in a multi-level wire cage. She lost her footing on one of hte wire ladders and fell two 'stories', breaking her back in multiple places. She died before my parents got home from work, within hours, and we didn't even have time to get her to a vet.

A ten gallon tank alone is enough room for one syrian hamster and two to three communal dwarf hamsters. The wire additions may add alot of room, but at a cost. I would recommend dismantling the wire cages and using only the 10 gallon tank. Also, a ten gallon tank would be enough to house one guinea pig, as long as you take him out for excercise, but he might be happier with a larger tank.

I'm sorry but no!

Guinea pigs don't really crime and they get alot bigger than they are in the petshops. The multi floring is best for rats or gerbils. As piggies are clumsy crimbers there fall of and badly injure them selfs i no as i made the same mistake :(. Go for a rat or a gerbil they're brilliant pets. Don't buy them from a pet shop as they're is plenty of said little helpless ones looking for a nice home to live in give them a chance and also it's cheaper!.

NO way. 10 gallons is much too small for guinea pigs and they should be on single story floors only. They will get their feet caught in wires and injure them--they must be on solid bottom surfaces only. Guinea pigs are not good climbers, either.

Nope!

Too small.
Guinea pigs like floor space, not so much climbing.

Each guinea pig needs at least 3 square feet of room. That's the size of a coffee table, or a card table.

10 gallon aquariums are WAY too small.

i say no- but you may be able to get away with it, if you take it out often to let it run around. i know my guinea pigs cage was pretty big.-and they get alot bigger than a hamster.

I would think so, if you let him out to play often.
