If you can get a space where your customers can drive their cars in for the installation it may be a great idea.

Not many malls are designed to provide this type of merchant support but if you can find one with good foot traffic in the area where you'll have your storefront and easy access to the installation bay you may well have a nice little money maker going! The installation bay wouldn't necessarily need to be co-located with the storefront though it would make things easier if it were.

Good luck!

Having a car electronics store means an installation shop. Doesn't work well unless your shop is a separate building from the mall. Then it could work well, use appointments to do installs, while the customer shops in the air conditioned mall.

Doubtful. A car electronics store needs shop space to install purchased goods, and malls are not well designed to accommodate such.
