Yes, I would. Jesus was friends with prostitutes, and all types of people living in sin.

As a Christian, I do not agree with abortions, and such, but it does not mean that I cannot be their friends. I just have to be careful that I do not turn to believe in abortions and lose my faith.

i am a christain and i have been friends with an atheist and i have to say, i would rather be friends with a pro choice christain... i do not condone abortion, but GOD himself gave us free will, so i believe in pro choice also. please note: I DO NOT condone abortion... it would not be my personal choice, but its not my place to say what someone can or cannot do with their own body and a child that they will be responsible for.

Christ expects us to befriend all people. why cant i be friends with both. the atheist needs ministry, and the christian needs to rethink his ideas

I'll be friends with both, if they'll have me =] I have friends who are atheists/agnostics. likewise i have Christian friends whose beliefs differ from mine.

Jesus is a friend to everyone who seeks Him. I try to follow in His footsteps. I am a friend to all that wants me for a friend. Regardless of what they believe.
