God, I would do all of this as a final act of faith. By gods will I could live without food limitlessly, so I would do so until he told me otherwise. That would test my heart and my faith, to see if there is anything left.

No, you are a unique individual. You can do all of the things you mentioned except for starving yourself to death. The other things could be considered noble in a way, and even fasting for a bit might be healthy, but don't get carried away.

Just try to see life on a spiritual plane. Look past the natural into the spiritual. Look beyond the literal into to spiritual. The things that are visible are made of the things that are not visible; in more ways than one.

Sure. Go for it.
Or you could find a job you like, give away the things that are useless to you, live in a reasonable way, meditate (why not?) and eat healthy foods.
But if you're into extremes, follow your own heart.
