This is really good. It was a big hit at the 4th of July bar-b-que.
My daughter's boyfriend works in the meat dept of a super market and this is their recipe for crab salad.
Crab Salad
2 pounds of imitation crab meat- chopped into small cubes or shredded
8 oz -(1 cup) of mayonnaise
4 oz block of cream cheese
2 celery stalks finely chopped
2 green onions- white and green parts finely chopped (I'm not crazy about green onions so I only use one or sometimes omit)
Mix ingredients together. And chill for a couple of hours.

Sure do!!! And it's great!!!
Krab Salad (I spell it with a K to indicate it imitation stuff)
8 oz imitation crab
1 rib celery, finely chopped
2 green onions, white and light green parts, finely chopped
Fresh Cracked (ground) pepper and Salt, to taste
2 Tbs. Fresh Lemon Juice
Mayonnaise, to taste for moistening and binding the mixture
1 Tbs. Chopped Dill (available in the produce section of the grocery)
Mix all together, crumble imitation crab into the mixture and cover and refrigerate for a couple hours to let the flavors blend. Serve with toast, whole grain crackers, or stuff into halved mini pitas (my favorite way).......Enjoy

As an old restaurant owner I don't really understand the question. 1) Make garden salad. 2) Toss in imitation Crab meat.

Well, this is a darned easy one.
Use a bit of mixed field greens, tomato, sliced onion, crumble the crab meat on top and finish with the dressing of your choice.

This is usually what i do. I cut the crab with my hands and fingers into little pieces and put it in the bowl. I add a can of corn and a can of peas drained out. I add some mayo (to your taste) a little bit of salt and some pepper. Serve with crackers. It is really good!

You mean the big chunky stuff with the bright red bits on it? I like it with coconut cream, a squeeze of lime, spring onions, chopped corriander, S&P. Yum.
