I'm not really sure about 'natural' remedies but I do know that since I started cleaning my face regularly, every morning and night, with a good cleanser and applying a good moisturizer, I have had a lot less trouble with acne & blemishes. I have seen a significant change since I started using Mary Kay. This is not an endorsement for MK and I do not sell it, it has just worked really, really well for me. I have already started my young teenage girls using it.

Also, the very best thing you can do for your skin is sunscreen. I am 38 and I avoid the sun at all cost. Most people think I'm around 25.

Try taking 50mg of Zinc a day, if you are a woman take a woman's multi vitamin daily as well, if you are male take a male multi vitamin. Drink 8 glasses of water, you would be suprised at how much better your skin will look and feel even after one day of doing this. It will probably take a good feww months to actually see a huge difference, but that's the price you pay to have clear skin. Also, find a good facial mask and use that 2-3 times a week and that will really help as well.

I don't know of anything else natural, but I use Proactive and it really helps alot.

Acne is a sort of oxydation, therefore i guess (haven't tried it) that you could eat antioxydants to fight and prevent acnea. Then you could perhaps eat meals which contain zinc (but not zinc alone --- toxic) and apply calamine lotion on your skin now and then. From what i know, your acne is either due to an hormonal unbalance which peaks around your teenagehood, or it is a sign of inner pollution (like too much sugar in your blood). The plants react in a similar fashion if they're fed with too much salt or whatever (they reject it on the leaves).
