Permanents are not glued in. They are sewn in. Glued ins look disgusting, last about two weeks, and are stupid and damage your hair. Clip ons are best, because you can change your look. They come in synthetic and human hair, human hair costing up to 500 dollars. Synthetic is much cheaper, but doens't look as good, and you can't style them. You CANNOT put in permanents by yourself. You can put in clip ins on your own though, as that's the whole point.
There are two types of glue ins. Individual strands and tracks. With individual strands, it is very time consuming damages hair and EXTREMELY expensive, but they last very long and look really natural. With these, they glue individual strands of hair onto your roots with REALLY HOT glue. With tracks, they make a braid against your scalp and glue on a track of hair, which is a lot of hair sewn together.
Sewn in hair is similar to glue ins, in they make a braid under your hair, but here, they sew them in. With the glued in tracks, you cannot wash them, and they're only good for about two weeks. Extensions can get VERY expensive, no matter what you choose, and with your thin hair, they WILL NOT look natural, no matter what you do.

Permanent r the ones the weave onto ur hair. It actually feels like the hair grew in itself. These r done at hair salons and are very expensive
Clip ons r ones u can buy at some place like Sally's Beauty Salon and clip them onto ur hair. These ones are about $70. U do these urself but u have 2 take them out every night and whenever u shower or else they'll just slip out of ur hair.
So i think the best choice is that u get the permanent ones cuz u want them in for a long time until ur hair grows

ok, don't get the glue ins... "premanent" ones... they will rip out your hair when it's time to take them out... you could do the clip ins, i know that Jessica Simpson manufactures them... or... you can do like the Black people... and get it sewn in... which basically means, that certain parts of your hair would be done into a cornrow (small french braid) and the track (strand of extension) would be sewn onto that braid... they last a long time, and depending on where you go, aren't that expensive... i guarantee you, if you go to a "white" salon, they will cost you upwards to $200, whereas if you go to a "black" salon, they will cost about $100-$150...
also, be sure to buy a good brand of hair... preferably Remy ($50 a pack) or Zury ($30 a pack)... or you can go with INdian and Bohemian hair (which will last for a year, as compared to the other barnds that will last about 3-4 months)... they're abut 45 dollars and ounce..
HOPE THAT HELPS!!!

Hair extentions are my calling!!!
There is a big difference. I would suggest clip ins. There cheaper, and you can take them out to wash them and when you shower and sleep. The kinf that glue in or are fused in last a long time too, but once they start to come out they look like crap.
Gotta be honest, your hair probably wont grow because you bleach it so much. Its growing, but your hair probably is snapping off so you dont think its growing.

Just because clip-ins are not permanent doesn't mean they aren't good, they sound like they'd go wel with your hair, and are easy to putin and take out, they only cost about £10/$20 so they aren't too expensive and they'll look good.

go for clip in for starters they are soooo easy to pop in and out and you can get a set from about £30, look on ebay!
I have a selection of different ones to add interest to my hair, and really like them.

if your hair is thin you may want to reconsider what you put on it. sound like your hair is exteemly fragile and you probably will end up with extreem breakage because of the weight of the extensions.

permanent means they glue it into your head. that's expensive. Clip-ins are great and inexpensive, and you can put them in by yourself- and take them out whenever you want.
