If you are asking for suggestions on how the hamster died, then it could have been that he was sick and you didn't know it. If you got your hamster from a petstore, then that was most likely it. A friend of mine got a guinea pig from a petstore, and it died 2 weeks later.
If you are asking for suggestions on what to do now, give it a nice burial. Theres nothing else you can do.

This truly relies upon on your mothers and fathers point of "freak outness" once you carry residing house a sparkling animal.

Your little pocket pal probably contracted a disease known as wet tail. Before you bury him, take him to the vet and let them do an autopsy on him. The autopsy will determine his cause of death, and then you can bury him. Or, the vet can also cremate his body and give you the ashes. You can either bury the ashes, sprinkle them wherever,or keep them somewhere for a reminder of your furry friend.

It depends on how well you took care of it. Fresh water everyday? Fresh food everday? Play with it everyday?
