I don't have any religious beliefs but I do believe in God.
I came full circle from being raised in a private Christian school which turned me against the church and caused me to become an atheist for ten to fifteen years.
For the past ten years I realized it's better to cut out all the middlemen and go straight to the source.

It is very difficult for a person to explain why they hold the religious beliefs that they do.
It is even harder to place whether these beliefs are founded on the mind or the heart.
I believe in God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible and every word in it.

I am a Born-Again christian. I also believe in a Goddess.
Why do I have these beliefs? Because this is what I've found to be true.

Beliefs: I believe in a 3-year-old's laughter, in my wife's smile, in watching two puppies playing together, in the sound of wind in the tops of redwood trees, in the old lady living alone up the hall who kisses my cheek every morning when I bring her a cup of coffee, in the taste of soy chocolate milk, in The New Yorker magazine, in the New York actors in the "Law & Order" series, in the New York Yankees, in peace, in vegetarianism, in democratic socialism, in the geniuses who are making computers more advanced almost every other day, in the US Constitution, in jazz, in Mark Twain's Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer, in the color of the sky at sunset that I see from my 9th-floor living-room window, in the old-time circus, in double-chocolate Oreo's, in my main man Will Shakespeare (I am a professional actor), in my heart doctors, in my writing, directing and acting talents, in my country as it was promised by the few among the Founding Fathers, in truth-telling and politeness and generosity and reaching out to people who are in need. Well, those are a few of my beliefs. What I do not believe in is the invisible god of a Bronze Age tribe of murdering desert nomads. Oh, yes, I also believe in my myself--I've come a helluva long way from the cotton mill-village in Georgia where I grew up.

very simple. One God, the creator of me and u and this universe..... many prophets and messengers like David, Moses, Jesus and Mohammed!
one funny thing b4 i go. Islam glorifies Jesus much more than Christians:
Islam says, jesus was saved from the cross and his body and soul left this world and those who betrayed him to heaven; another man (the one who told on him) was made to look just like Jesus and was rightfully tortured and crucified.
some christians say that Jesus IS God and was crucuifed!!!? Why would the creator of those people who tortured him let them kill him and sacrifice his holy self for them killers!!!???
some other christians say that jesus is the son of God, but y would god see his only son get tortured and leave him there??
I dont believe in a weak God!

This is so scary: people are saying they believe because they believe. And this makes sense to them. Wow.
