It's amazing how alarmists suddenly bring out all the possible reasons for a planet warming when it is not Earth, but ALL they can come up with for Earth is man-made CO2.

It that is an accurate observation, then it is an interesting anomaly. The radiation output of the sun is easy to measure, and I don't know of any reports of increased solar radiation.

Planetary temperature is subject to a lot of variables, and even if the sun were burning hotter, I would not expect the temperature on mars to rise at the same rate. Radiant solar energy arriving at the surface of a planet is a function of the square of the orbital distance, so an increase in earthly sunlight of 10% would be some significantly smaller fraction of additional heat on mars. Mars also has a thinner atmosphere, so it's less efficient at retaining the heat that it does receive.

By what measure is the temperature of mars rising at the same rate of earths? Measured as a percentage of degrees Kelvin? Or in terms of increase by degrees?

Everything affects everything. That's why the single most important thing we can do is maintain a healthy balance within ourselves...this will then reflect in everything we do and all that we come in contact with. Just like we need our veggies not a fast food burger, they burger takes up more energy to produce then the carrot, which affects our health our mentality, our enviroment. Everything is reflective of it's self.I think many ancient "masters" had it down actually, and know modern quantum physiscists are making these theories more acceptable...let me reccomend a DVD...It's not about temprature...it's about everythig in a way...it's called "What the Bleep Do We Know" Or there's an even more informative version called "What the Bleep Do We Know...Down The Rabbit Hole." How far down the rabbit hole do you want to go???

Oh... stop trying to blame heat on the sun!

A consensus of scientists have said there is indesputable proof that mankind is responsible for all the heat on earth, and the time for debate has ended. We are in a CRISIS and the earth is calling out S.O.S. to us all!

Need proof? Here is a simple experiment anyone can do:

1. On a Monday morning, get up at 6 AM. MEASURE the temperature outside.

2. OBSERVE that mankind begins filling the streets and highways with cars, creating CO2 pollution.

3. At 10 AM, MEASURE the outdoor temperature again. You will be amazed to see how much higher it has climbed since mankind began filling the air with CO2.

4. At 12 noon, OBSERVE that there is an increase of vehicular activity as everyone rushes around for lunch, adding more CO2 into the atmosphere.

5. At 2 AM, MEASURE the outdoor temperature again. It will be even higher than the 10 AM measurement.

6. At 4 PM, OBSERVE that people begin commuting home in their vehicles, pouring more CO2 into the atmosphere, then finally they will all be at home, switching their vehicles OFF.

7. At 6 PM, MEASURE the outdoor temperature again. It will just begin recovering from all the CO2.

8. At 10 PM, MEASURE the outdoor temperature. You will notice a dramatic drop in temperature now that there is not so much CO2 pollution on the roadways.

9. Finally, at 2 AM, MEASURE the temperature one last time. Again, notice the dramatic drop.

You will have undeniable PROOF, that you have MEASURED and OBSERVED for YOURSELF, that MANKIND is SINGULARLY and SOLELY responsible for the changing temperatures on earth.

And you will have proven it with your own measurements and observations, so you will know it is true.

TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW to try this experiment, and they will be converted to the truth as well.

Like Dana said, "it hasn't".
"mars warming at the same rate", is misinformation spread by people who are poorly informed.
the truth is, we don't know enough about Mars climate to say it has warmed at the same rate. And even if we find out it has, Mar's atmosphere is over 90% CO2.
people who say the sun is responsible, because of the seasonal climate patterns on Mars, conveniently forget that Mars is farther from the sun than both Earth and Venus, and Venus has shown no considerable warming outside its usual seasonal climate patterns. they also ignore the fact that if the sun was responsile, for these planets to warm at the same rate, they would have to be equal distances from the sun.

The 1 deg that they are chasing might be chasing your tail. A thermometer of 100 years ago was not all that accurate. It could have an error of + or - 3 deg.F.So it is possible there was never an increase of in temperature .

It hasn't. The temperature on Marshasrisen much less---and only in the last few years. As to why--shifts in weather patterns have kept more dust in the Martian atmosphere, which acts much like a greenhouse gas, trapping heat.

There haven't been any forest fires or no one burning fossil fuels, the distance from the sun is different, and the amount of lakes and seas are very different.

I Never noticed that pattern before... I will start spreading the word that we all just need to stay in our houses asleep and the world will cool down! lol

Because it hasn't.

Like Earth, Mars has seasons that cause its polar caps to wax and wane. "It's late spring at the south pole of Mars," says planetary scientist Dave Smith of the Goddard Space Flight Center. "The polar cap is receding because the springtime sun is shining on it."

"Remember, though," adds Smith, "there are two polar caps on Mars--north and south. While the south polar cap is vaporizing the north polar cap is growing. It's a balancing act.
