It wouldn't be wise to use actual bleach, like one person suggested. Pretty stupid idea, considering bleach can kill you if digested. You could try using baking soda, but it won't necessarily whiten that well.
Anyhow...they sell whitening strips in most drug stores,..and yes they do work. They can be pretty expensive but usually right next to the brand name ones, Crest and whatever..they have the "off brand" ones. They're half the price of the other ones, if money is an issue. The results typically last up to 12 months, so I just say screw it and buy the 30 dollar box of em.

Stay away from the professional teeth whitening procedures and from the whitening at home kits. They are using extremely toxic chemicals that can cause IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE TO TOOTH ENAMEL and premature tooth decay.

Check out this site: http://www.naturalwhiteteeth.net - It's about how you can whiten your teeth 100% naturally. Same results but 100% safe and 1000 times cheaper.

Baking soda in a cup. Peroxide in a cup. Dip your tooth brush in the peroxide then the baking soda and brush. Simple as that and it works. Doesn't taste that great though but we all make sacrifices for beauty, right? Oh btw don't use toothpaste with it. Oh and also if you like, add a couple drops of mint oil (or cinnamon, you can find them in the candy section at the market) to the peroxide to make it a bit smoother.

Bicarbonate of soda mixed with a squirt of lemon juice. Put a little toothpaste on your brush first to make it taste better then dip into the bicarb and lemon mix. Brush it around and then try to hold it in your mouth around your teeth for a minute or two and then a good brush again, rinse. Its a good breath freshener too!!

I believe there is video you can search for on Yahoo videos. The guy said teeth whitening for under a dollar. Lemon juice and cigarette ash. You take lemon juice and a couple pinches of cigarette ashes and mix the mixture, then brush for 10 seconds. The lemon juice takes off stains off of the enamel and the ash takes off all other stains. It sounds gross and I never tried it, but research the Yahoo videos and you might find it.

Baking soda and peroxide are found in many teethwhitening and toothpaste products. They can whiten your teeth. DO NOT USE BLEACH. Its a chemical and probably will kill you if you use enough.. (Doesnt take much bleach to kill you)

I dont know how good it is for your teeth. I have done it for years. Put some baking soda on a slightly moist cotton ball and rub teeth gently. This will remove some staining.
