We've got two kids 2 and 4 and generally go to Centre Parcs for our holidays 'cos' 'it works' and there's loads to do for the kids. Has anyone got any suggestions for good family holidays in the South of the UK, suitable for this age range. Preferably with interconnecting rooms, kids menus, activities for kids to do (and stuff parents can do with kids). Don't know if these places exist??

As a rule, the British hate kids. I refuse to use restaurants that have the sign 'no children' and there are plenty of them. Take children to a restaurant and you get dirty looks from just about everyone if they even squeak.

France, Italy, Spain, Germany and the attitude is very different.

Theme parks are for adults though made to look like they are for kids.
