ok i (15) like funky kinds of hairstyles and my sister (17) like elegant styles we both have hair down past our shoulders and i have blonde she has brown hair and any hairstyles are fine half up dos or all the way up updos are fine we would like some pics and/or websites

Girls it all depends on the dress. If the dress is stapless I would let it down. Can have it straight or soft curls. Or also can do a half up and half down style which will work out as well. Good Luckl!!!!!

for an elegant style for your sister, i would suggest a French braid or French twist.
for a funky hairstyle for you, perhaps you could part your hair in a zig-zag and put it up into 2 buns or braided buns (kind of like Princess Leia from Star Wars, but not really).That would be cute. Or you could do the top part of your hair in cornrows or small ponytails and leave the rest down. that's pretty popular now.

i think you should keep the top part of your hair straight and wave the ends. Your sister should banna curl her hair and put it in a bun.
