I tried playing 'the God game' a while back. I didn't get very far, though, because I couldn't find any way to do a better job than He did. And you can't just say, "I wouldn't have made hate and war". It doesn't work that way. Removing that capability produces mere robots without the capability of ever becoming your friends.

There is really nothing that He could have done differently and still allow us to have free-will to decide how we and those who come after us will live. If he'd made us like robots that only obeyed all of the time, sure, we would live in peace and harmony, but would we really be happy if we couldn't have personal choice? I think not.

I would have made it impossible for people to reproduce unless they were at a certain level of intelligence and could achieve a certain level of emotional/psychological health, stability, maturity and positive functionality.
I also would have left a definitive Word of God that was objectively clear and accurate, and not subject to interpretation or questioning as to source or authenticity.

I would have stopped aliens from getting entangled in the evolution of life on an insignificant planet called Earth.....Humans have become totally lost because of all the gods and religions they have created to explain this mistake.

Give plants the ability to talk. That would clear up a lot if they were used to relay things they witnessed.

I would reveal myself in ways that people could see, hear, etc. I wouldn't hide behind "mysterious ways". I would make it very clear that I do NOT want people killing in my name.
Also, we would not need to eat to survive, we would live on air and sunshine, weather would always be moderate, so there would be no need for shelter.

Many things but most importantly, I would not require my little creations to worship me in order to get into the promised land. That's just wrong.

Nothing. I'd be doing the same because If I was God I'd be the way God is. God is God. Whether it be me or someone else. Whatever he knows best, I'd be doing it, which is the same.
