Epson has HDMI 1.3 vs Panasonic has <1.3 (actually, is it 1.1 or 1.2?). Does it really matter?

Projectors are a bit like speakers .You have to view them to pick the one you prefer.There is no other way. You can't go by specifications only .You have to see the whole picture.
