Hey everyone i just want to know how old you have to be to apply for a job in Texas? I know the minimum was 14, but I got word that it changed to 18 or something because kids were dropping out of school to work. thanks

depends on the job. you can babysit at the age of 12, but to get a real job, you have to be 14.

Usually you can get a work permit when you are 15 or 16. You need to ask your local city people. They will be able to tell you.
