Good question... Great question... I've asked this question before. All the passion that the pro-illegals/immigration show over here seems trivial given the fact they won't use that energy back in their homelands. The fact of the matter is that only in the U.S. can they protest and push their agendas without fear of reprisals. Think about it, the biggest supporter of immigration is the Mexican government with all of these smaller immigration groups being funded by the money sent home from the immigrant and illegal workers. The Mexican government is dependent on all of this money. The Mexican government has forced their citizens to risk their lives, work for nothing, and risk deportation, all so they can send hard-earned money back to support this very same government. Makes absolutely no sense.

Sadly the Mexican government is extremely corrupt. They know that illegals sending money back to Mexico only helps Mexico. But yes Mexicans should try to take a stand and personally I think that if the US wants to keep the 50% of illegal Mexicans out of the US they have to try and make the US less appealing and Mexico more appealing.

Their government controls the media and the media portrays the US as a place of dreams. Then the media promotes not learning english, so that the people come here and won't know they are really doing a wrong thing. They won't understand why they are not welcomed here and think they have rights here when they don't. The government there does NOT care about the low-lifes and the criminals and wants to get RID of them. So they watch the spanish news and to them this looks like a dreamland.

Yes, it is time.
It is time for the UN to pressure the Mexican government to provide more opportunities for their people under humanitarian purposes and provide support to the Mexican people to effect change there.
Instead of allowing the Mexican government to solve it's poverty issues by exporting the poor, the US should close the border and impose sanctions against Mexico until it makes strides in improving conditions there.
Mexico has wealth and natural resources. It lacks incentive and the moral spine it takes to effect positive change.

The Mexican government refuses to improve conditions because its incompetent and corrupt. People whine about corruption in the United States, but Mexico makes it look like the most accountable place on earth.
Anyway, its probably easier for ordinary citizens to move to the USA and become Americans.

In the south, there is an Army that's demanding more rights. THere has been a decade long truce. THe military there is called Zapitista, and it's mostly focussed on more rights for the Indians. My feeling is that the illegal immigrants should march to bring attention to injustice in Mexico. I was told they fear assasination, but they should be safer here. I was mad at Clinton ,when He created NAFTA. I saw the human rights violation, but the Government tried to cover it up. You here more about CHinas Child labor more than those in Mexico.

That's simple...the Mexican government would throw them in jail, barely feed them, work them to death and treat them sub-human. America on the other hand, lets them get away with it because ....... well, they're allowed to march and protest and demand and not get thrown in jail......heck, they're not even thrown out of our country.
The Mexican president wants them to come to the USA so they can send their money home. He doesn't have to provide jobs, health care, nothing. Just enjoy the influx of money.

Mexico has a reproduction problem. It seems that the "less desirables" are the only ones having hordes of offspring. Hence, the "less desirables" are being encouraged to migrate to the U.S. by the Mexican Government.
