You can peel it, then cut on each side of the stone, then cut the sides. Then you can slice that up or dice it depending on what you are doing. You could also leave the skin on and just cut like you would if you were going to make chips with a potato. Or you can not peel it cut on either side of the stone, take those halves and make vertical and horizontal cuts and flip inside out and take a spoon and knock off the squares. LOL you thought it was simple cutting a mango huh? good luck

The mango seed is flat.
A fancy restaurant or a great cook will utilize this information and cut a mango into three, one slab above the seed, one slab under the seed. Flip them over cut sid eup and arrange on a dessert plate, Drizzle some raspberry sauce for contrast and serve.

slice skin off but becareful may be slippery slice side off then place it down so it sits and doesn't move all over cutting board then slice top off and then down the four sides and then slice the fruit off the pit which is big and bulky in the center

Carefully.

Just remember not to cut in any direction that might take your knife to your own person.

Cut vertically, along length, so you can remove the large pit.
