I shave my head because i'm pretty much balding anyway. i have no issues with that, its easy, its clean, i'm happy. lol. but, i've been thinking about growing a goatee or a beard or something, so, whats your opinion on it? i dont want to look "mean", but it'd be nice to not be too "plain". does that make sense?
soul patch? chin goatee, mustache and chin? sideburns at all?
please let me know what you think?

umm... if it helps, i'm just slightly under 6'0", i weigh about 200 lbs, i have a tiny bit of a gut that just doesnt want to go away, but i stay pretty fit, and i do have broad shoulders, my neck is.... i dunno... lol, not wider than my head but not real skinny i guess, and my face is pretty much the shape of my avatar.
i think i'm gonna try something though, and i appreciate all the answers! keep 'em coming folks!

I think bald men are sexy! A goatee, thin mustache or a 5 o'clock shadow are sexy as well. I don't like long beards or full facial hair. Reminds me of Grizzly Adams. (but he had long thick hair also). Maybe you can start growing it and buy a mustache and beard trimmer and every week try trimming different areas. Try a narrow look or a wider look. Depends on the shape of your face. If your face is round or long and narrow. Do you have a round or square chin? Look through some men's magazines or go to a barber shop and ask for suggestions.
Have fun with it. Men can do a lot with facial hair today. Also, women like trimmed eyebrows, not the bushy or unibrow look. Good luck, sexy!

I think that a shaved head is very sexy but it also depends on what kind of head you have. But u pull it off good for you. I Rather the mustache and chin combination. a very low and well groomed beard. To me that is very sexy. I am more attacked to men that have those to combinations and ways.
But have to try it you know you can switch it up and be versatile to have different looks. To me it is all about variety.

My husband shaves his head and also keeps a small goatee and mustache. He keeps his facial hair trimmed so that it doesn't get unruly and it looks really nice...but I could just be biased. I think a soul patch is attractive, too. I'm not so sure about sideburns, though, unless you were meticulous with the upkeep. The mental image I keep getting is of a bald man with bushy mutton chops....not so attractive. Good luck!

My husband does that. He's pretty much bald, but he shaves the rest of his head. I love it. He wears a goatee all the time and it looks good. But he has a round face and I perfer a full beard, but trimmed very close, more like a five o'clock shadow. I think it looks better, but we live in Louisiana and he says it's too hot for that & he messes up when he tries to trim it. But if you face is slim I think a goatee would look nice & if it's round & full I like the five o'clock shadow. Good luck. Bald men are super sexy. 2D

It depends on your age, your body type, how thick your beard is, etc. If you are middle aged and kind of big, a goatee will make you look like a bouncer. If you are more slender, or younger, a goatee might look pretty good. Just don't do the soul patch thing. Every time I see that I feel compelled to get a razor.

I LOVE a bald head and especially when shaved, I find it very sexy
a BIG NO to a beard (yuk) - a goatee looks ok as long as its not long and pointy!
Grow a little one and get other peoples opinions first

iam not a lady, but from 1 bald man to another, i grew a beard and it looked pretty nice, but i decided to shave the beard and keep the mustache. if iam clean shaven, i dont look right, i look like a little boy, because another thing, i have a baby face to start with, and a clean shave, makes me look awful, so i think as for you a neatly trimmed goatee, or even a full beard, would make you look distinguish.
