I just finished a big history book on the rise of Islam, and worry the message of Muhammad has gotten totally lost with this Islamic Terrorism. It seems like the average person in Islam is so obsessed with seeing their religion succeed that they don't see the total evil that is using this message to push the faith, and there needs to be much more speaking out against by the faithful.

I know little about the Sunnah but they are supposed to be the words of Mohammed which are only his words. the quran is a mix of Jewish laws and the Torah mixed with Jesus teaching from the new testament but it does not give the full story often missing the main points. Jesus said the Jews could never follow all the laws yet the quran adds many more guarantying hell.

The Quran is the word of Allah and a gift to mankind and the Sunnah is a beautiful and peaceful way to live life as the prophet did. And applying both things to ones life and abiding by them means paradise. And there is nothing better then Paradise.

The Quran was sent down so people could know what to do over the years. and Sunnah is what people should strive to try to be.
The Quran is the only book that has never changed not even the language.
Sure it's translated but it has the Arabic on the side.

Same as I do about the Holy Bible.
It was written by people who make mistakes. So it's a load crap. All of it.

Sounds like there was much plagiarized from the bible.
It is too verbose.
It has abrogation like the bible; if it is god's word why does god allow changes to it.
To Omer and the other downthumbers.
"Among the verses in the Quran containing orders or laws there are verses that abrogate verses previously revealed and acted upon. These abrogating verse are called _nasikh_ and those whose validity they terminate are called _mansukh_.
The common notion of abrogation, that is, canceling of one law or code by another, is based on the idea that a new law is needed because of a mistake or shortcoming in the previous one. It is clearly inappropriate to ascribe a mistake in law-making to God, Who is perfect, and whose creation admit of no flaws.
However, in the Quran, the abrogating verses mark the end of the validity of the abrogated verses because their heed and effect was of a temporary or limited nature. In time the new law appears and announces the end of the validity of the earlier law. Considering that Quran was revealed over a period of twenty-three years in ever-changing circumstances, it is not difficult to imagine the necessity of such laws."

I'm not religious but if I had to pick one religious book it would be the Qur'an. It doesn't include things like pedophilia (in the bible) and it is widely renown and respected.

High Five: The Qu'ran was NEVER changed, editted, revised, etc. like the Bible was. The Bible was once beautiful, but it was changed and adulterated, and therefore lost all its beauty.

You asked what we thought, ok? Just remember that.
I think it's a load of bollocks. Just an Arab knock-off of the Torah, Talmud and the Bible.
