That's a nice trick question. You are using the answers to this question to try to prove that belief in religion is stupid. Tell you what, when you can answer all of my questions about the universe based solely on scientifically proven evidence and that a higher being could not have been involved, then you come tell me about how religion is stupid.

For starters, since you like Mars, what caused the regional dust storm on Mars that is occuring right now? How come the scientists running the Spirit and Opportunity program didn't predict it? Provide the scientifically proven evidence for your answers. Oh, you don't know the answer? Ok, thanks. How about, is there global warming on Mars? If so, what is causing it? You say you don't have scientifically proven evidence? Ok, thanks. It may as well be caused by that shampoo factory of yours for all you know.

"My human mind believes there is a shampoo factory on Mars. Does me believing it make it real?"

Sorry, Jim, but the shampoo factory was outsourced late last month to Venus. We all prayed and prayed, but it was god's will, I guess. Believe me, I'm as broke-up as you are. All we got to be proud of now on this side of Mars, the dark side, are a dozen Christian churches, the bishop's fourth wife (her beauty reminds the old coots of Barbara Bush), and Execution Square, where Jews, Catholics, liberals, and other heretics are burned alive every second Thursday afternoon at three o'clock. God bless you.

Yes. You already have a few disciples in Y!A. As your legend grows, people will recognize the clarity of your vision and it's Divine inspiration. Then, over the centuries, popular opinion of you will grow and change into something very unlike what you were in life. At the end of days, people will even begin to doubt that you cared about personal hygiene at all. They will morph you into a figurehead for uncleaned, unconditioned hair, finally going stark raving bald...

You gotta love people like you.

If I believe that the .357 revolver won't kill me after you pull the trigger at point blank range, does that make me any less dead when the bullet leaves a six-inch hole in the middle of my back?

I believe my tea cup floating in outer space has seen this shampoo factory. By the way, have they been sending their product to China for export?

I'm sure there is a point here.
You can believe anything you want.
I think you live out in a rural area with very little human contact.
But that is just my belief.

Shampoo, like spirituality, is a personal choice. If you like yours served up by Martians, that's fine with me.
