How do I break into travel writing?

Question

I'm a great writer and I love to travel. I have created a website that journals (with photos) all of my recent travels. I have an M.A. in English, an M.A. in history, and I have taught composition at the university level for 6 years. Any tips or guidelines? I don't even know how to begin...I'm thinking just sending my query letter to travel magazines would be a bit juvenile, but I don't know the process! Any help?
